Executive Leadership

Dear CFHPA Family and Friends,

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our President and CEO, Mr. Bobby Joe Hadnot.

But more than the wonderful leader of our organization, he was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and a trusted friend to all who knew and loved him.

Retirement was never really in his vocabulary. Whenever he wasn’t busy tending to his livestock and building masterpieces around his home, he was lending a hand and his expertise in the community whenever and wherever duty called.

Bobby was instrumental in the upkeep of the Indian Creek Cemetery and spearheaded the Indian Creek Cemetery Homecoming celebration each year in July. He served as Vice-President of the Board of Directors for the Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department and played a significant role in bringing the neighborhood its very first fire department.

He advocated for and urged the community to get out and vote during election seasons. He was a powerful, yet gentle voice of reason for our youth.

Bobby did have an appreciation for the blues and one of his favorite musicians was B.B. King. Two years ago, his request to the CFHPA team was to put together a tribute to B.B. each year. We will honor his request, again this year, and we will dedicate the event to our beloved Bobby Joe.

Our Bobby will certainly be missed but will never, ever be forgotten. We will continue his goal to bring about a positive change in the community.

On behalf of everyone at CFHPA, we offer our sincerest condolences to his wife Ruthie, his children, Valencia, Vanessa, and Dynetro and the rest of his family and friends.

In Loving Memory of our President and CEO
