4th Annual Blues Concert
Join us and our Title Sponsors, Jasper Lake Sam Rayburn Chamber of Commerce and City of Jasper as we serve up some downhome blues - all night long! It's our 4th Annual Blues Concert and Fundraising Dinner "Blues, Blues & Nothing But the Blues!". First, we'll hear from "Mr. Downhome Blues" himself, Floyd Haywood!
Our special musical guest is "Still Cruisin" coming to us with a medley of hits that are sure to have you "cruisin" and swingin! You may recognize one of the band members...Carl Stewart. Carl accompanied Barbara Lynn during our first tribute to B.B. King concert. He was fantastic then and now with "Still Cruisin" is even better! The band will perform two sets: 8:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. It's going to be a fantastic night of music!
A soul food menu that's sure to satisfy your taste buds and your "soul" is planned for the evening- southern baked chicken, roasted garlic parmesan potatoes, green beans, rolls and...and... this menu keeps growing! But we can't give all of our surprises away. You'll get to savor the flavors when we see you on 9/28. The dinner buffet is from 7:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. And what's a good buffet without dessert? Is your mouth watering yet? And, all this is included in your ticket price. Tea and water will be served with your meal. Cash bar will be available.
